Abstract :

The Sci-Fi Channel is planning to take advantage of the success of USA Network's off-network programming with its fall 1992 schedule. The weeknight prime time hours will include programs such as 'Battlestar Galactica,' 'War of the Worlds' and a program tentatively called 'Great Series Showcase.' Sci-Fi plans to use Sunday prime time for original programming and Saturday prime time to air made-for-television movies.
