A bitter tug-of-war between two Hollywood giants is causing changes at two Philadelphia television stations, as Rupert Murdoch's Fox Network will move sometime early next year to another channel.

Fox filed plans in mid-August with federal regulators to buy WGBS, Channel 57, for an undisclosed sum by early next year. The network's shows -- including "The Simpsons," "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Married ... With Children" -- currently are on WTXF, Channel 29, owned by Paramount.

"We are shocked and outraged that WTXF, as a long-standing, loyal and founding Fox affiliate, will lose its affiliation," Paramount responded when the deal was disclosed.
