Abstract :

Television stations have regained investor interest as prospective acquisitions. Fox Broadcasting is looking to acquire more stations and has been rejected in a bid for the Group W stations. However, it is in the process of negotiating for WGBS in Philadelphia, PA, and WFXT, in Boston, MA. QVC's possible acquisition of Paramount may place Paramount's stations on the market and Fox, as well as Rom Perelman, has expressed interest in them.
