Abstract :
Television production companies and syndicators are offering a number of talk shows with varied formats and personalities for the 1994-95 season in response to broadcasters requests for something 'different.' Five new talk shows, more than the usual number, have a chance of being broadcast, and 23 shows are being marketed for syndication. Talk shows are being increasingly marketed to independent television stations, rather than network affiliates. Plans for new talk shows offered by DLT Entertainment, Multimedia and Buena Vista are described.
