Abstract :

US bankers interested in launching the home banking system in the US must consider the demise of one such system, the Nottingham Building Society's Homelink program, in its 1983 debut in the UK. The program necessitated a sustainable and competitive management strategy in the area of product forecasting, marketing and coordination between processors and distributors. Regrettably, few firms in the financial services industry are able to meet such a requirement.
