Abstract :

Democrats would require a net gain of six seats in order to wrest the Senate from the GOP in the race for the 2006 Senate election and for this, the most likely way for them to do that is by defeating all five of the most endangered Republican senators and winning in Tennessee or Arizona, while holding all of their own seats. The details regarding profiles of the eight races, who are closest for the moment, are provided.
