LAST year, Brokeback Mountain and Transamerica gave gay and transgendered themes a new visibility in mainstream movies. Reel Pride, the Winnipeg gay and lesbian film festival, has been working on the edges for 13 years now, bringing together feature films, docs and shorts from around the world.
