NEW YORK, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Less than 4 years after publishing its first list in the US, DK Publishing, Inc., the publisher of high quality illustrated reference books, CD-ROMs, and videos, announces year end net revenues of $64.2 million (fiscal year ending June 30, 1995) which is up 76% from $36.5 million. DK Publishing, Inc. is the US subsidiary of the London-based publishing company Dorling Kindersley Holdings plc.
The parent company announced total net revenues of $220.7 million (138.8 million pounds sterling) -- up 30 percent -- and pre-tax profit up 41 percent at $20.2 million (l2.7 million pounds). Dorling Kindersley Holdings generates more than three-quarters of its revenues outside the UK.
