My editor wrote "amusing; something different" on a note affixed to the CD case, and he's right. Schleiermacher is a great pianist who works very diligently and very quickly, and I always enjoy his recordings. This time around, he has selected a program of seven pieces by six Indonesian composers: Paul Gutama Soegijo's (b 1934) Klavierstudie (1968), Slamet A Sjukur's (b 1935) Svara (1979) and Yu Taha (1997), Michael Asmara's (b 1956) Piano Piece No. 10 (2001) and 'Little Piece' (no date), Soe Tjen Marching's (b 1971) Kenang (2001), and Dody Satya Ekagustiman's (b 1961)...
