Abstract :

American journalists expected something wrong to happen on the day that one-million Black men staged a march to Benjamin Banneker City. The Louis Farrakhan controversy, the gender divide and the racial conflict as well as the social problems of Black male were the issues rocking the media. Most of the Media woke up late to the march story despite the large coverage from African American writers of the event.
