DALLAS, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- 7th Level, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEVL) today announced plans to expand into the Asian market through a joint venture with two widely recognized Korean companies, KOLON and Anitel. KOLON is Korea's 15th largest conglomerate, and Anitel is a leading animation and post-production company with headquarters in Seoul. Both recently signed a letter of intent with 7th Level to create the company's first production studio in Asia, to be known as 7th Level Korea.
Based in Seoul, this state-of-the-art studio will use 7th Level's proprietary TopGun(TM) technology and True 3D(TM) multimedia production tools to create education and entertainment titles for distribution through KOLON's domestic channel including Lawsons, KOLON's convenience store chain. This joint venture will also establish a publishing division to localize 7th Level's U.S. titles and publish original titles that will have wide acceptance in Korea...
