Abstract :

The 'Capitol Hill' CD-ROM from Software Toolworks Inc. provides an interactive approach to teaching about Congress in undergraduate political science classes. Presented from the perspective of a newly elected representative, the program offers video sequences and photographs with narration, text, game and lectures. It is composed of a glossary, a member's first day in office, orientation for new members, a tour of the Capitol, and a 'Power Play' game on congressional leadership hierarchy.
