HBO pic on Clintons
Dennis Quaid is attached to play President Clinton, Julianne Moore to play first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and Frost/Nixon star Michael Sheen to portray British Prime Minister Tony Blair in The Special Relationship, a movie for HBO penned by Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan.
If given the go-ahead, Mr. Morgan will make his directorial debut with the film, which is about the political relationship between Mr. Clinton and Mr. Blair, the Hollywood Reporter notes.
It also would mark Mr. Sheen's third portrayal of the former British prime minister. He played Mr. Blair in two Stephen Frears movies penned by Mr. Morgan: 2003's The Deal and 2006's The Queen.
