Jan. 3--January in La Crosse. Most folks wouldn't plan a concert here then. But most folks aren't Johnsmith, a local troubadour who spends most of his life on the road. But in January, he always comes home to perform at the Pump House. This year's concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 15-16. "It's going to be me and Dan Sebranek and Larry Dalton," Johnsmith said. Sebranek is a longtime collaborator, but Dalton will be a new twist to the musical evening. "I've wanted to do something with Larry forever. I think he's one of the best around the country playing bass."
