THE ever-popular Bath and District Saturday League is about to get even bigger and better, thanks to new opportunities extended to clubs in south Bristol and north east Somerset.
The century-old 11-a-side league for men aged 16 and over is expanding its catchment area ahead of the 2014-15 campaign and will change its name to Bath and North Somerset Football League.
Somerset FA football development officer Brendan Dix explained: "The Bath and District League is one of Somerset's longest-serving leagues and it works tirelessly to offer playing opportunities in the area.
