Life-in-Death, or Life-after-Death. An enigma and a research field for professionals, be they physicians, psychiatrists, scientists, scholars, or literary authors. A domain which may refer both to the existence of the living beings or of the dead --undead creatures. One of these creatures is, and has been throughout the history of mankind, the vampire, the eternal archetype of evil.
