THE organising committee of the Tullamore Show has not rested on their laurels since the success of the 91st show last year.
Publicity officer Natasha Shankelton said this year features all of the regular program of horse, cattle, sheep, show dogs, poultry and pavilion events plus the continuation of some of the new events introduced during the past two years.
The show is scheduled for August 14 and 15 and gates open from 6am.
In the pavilion the hotly contested rich fruit cake competition is on again.
Ms Shankelton said last year's winner Sandra Fidock went on to win at the zone level and then represented at the Sydney Royal Show, where she was successful in gaining first place.
