Abstract :

A single unified U.S. international public broadcasting service should be created to replace the current system, which is wasteful and overly politicized. The U.S. should not present propaganda, but should rather exemplify and advocate the free marketplace of ideas. Under the current system, there is much duplication of effort among many different services, including the Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia, Radio Marti, Marti TV, and Worldnet.
