Jaega Wise is using her chemical engineering degree in her work as head brewer at one of London's exiting new microbreweries.
She is a graduate who rejected the corporate world, where she worked as a chemical trader in the City of London, for the much more freewheeling and fun life of making beer and running a start-up, Wild Card Brewery in Walthamstow.
"I probably work more hours than I have ever worked before but I am the happiest I have ever been," Wise says. "For me it's a lifestyle choice."
She recommends that young people who like the idea of joining the craft beer revolution and working for a microbrewery...
