Abstract :

TurboDOS, from Software 2000, is an operating system for microcomputers. Some of the features of TurboDOS are: a high degree of CP-M compatibility, multitasking background processing, networking capability, built-in communications facilities and print spooling. An in-depth review, including the pros and possible cons of using TurboDOS, is given. Diagrams of a typical network, drive allocations, and a network interface circuit are shown, as well as a table of common TurboDOS modules. The documentation included with TurboDOS is excellent. TurboDOS has powerful facilities for users and programmers.
