Abstract :

TurboDOS, from Software 2000, is a network operating system for microcomputers. A large number of network configurations are possible with TurboDOS. TurboDOS permits transparent message routing between physically connected processors. TurboDOS has a modular construction. Diagrams of tightly coupled, loosely coupled and multiple network configurations are given. Features, possible networking configurations and limitations of TurboDOS, as well as guidelines for choosing a TurboDOS network are discussed. A table reviews available TurboDOS networking products.
