Abstract :

The Mac is seen as an ideal, relatively low cost machine on which architects can create designs. The overview-review assesses various programs aimed at the architectural market, and their output. Structural analysis programs include MacFrame, Simple Span, and FrameMac. MacSpec is a technical word processor which manages hundreds of sections and subsections in a spec document. MacPerSpective, SpaceEdit, and ComicWorks offer 2D and 3D perspective drawing capabilities. Schema and NewStudio enable architects to construct elaborate 3D designs viewable from any angle. Product details such as price and memory needs are found on page 214.
