For a CD that's presumably a celebration of the life of Tejano music's greatest star, ''Selena: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' sure doesn't have a lot of Tejano music.
This new soundtrack, promoting the film's opening this weekend, can't be called a greatest-hits package or even a remarkable representation of Selena's talent. It features enough new material to attract the slain singer's legion of fans, including three ''medleys'' culled from her final performance at the Houston Astrodome, plus an all-star, ''We Are the World''-style track recorded in her honor.
