Abstract :

HP's reputation for selling reliable and well-supported peripherals continues with the 1,288-pound-sterling ScanJet Plus. HP has added software and marketing flair to a Canon-made scanner engine. Special HP ScanJet Plus software includes easy-to-use installation software. Another program, Scanning Gallery Plus, captures and edits scanned images. Scanning Gallery Plus runs under Microsoft Windows and via menus provides a great deal of help for editing. Scanning Gallery Plus scans at 75, 150 and 300 dpi, and it can theoretically be customized to scan at up to 1,500 dpi. ReadRight optical character recognition software is also provided. ScanJet Plus takes only US letter-size and A4 paper.
