Tho’RBV.’ELEAZEV. Williams, till recently canon of Bangor and rector of Llangefni, whose death is announced, graduated in 1850 from Trinity College, Dublin, and was ordained deacon the -same year and priest in 1851 by the Bishop of Bangor1 (Dr. Christopher Bothell). Astor serving the curacy of Tredegar, Monmouthshire, he was nominated in 1854 by the trustees to the incumbency of St. David’s, Liverpool, where he remained till 1358. After two years’ work at Carnarvon, he was appointed in 1860 "by a private patron' to the perpetual curacy of Tydwoiliog, Carnarvon, and from 1865 to 1877 held the rectory of Edem with Camglwch in the same county, to which he was nominated by Bishop Campbell. In 1877 the Bishop transferred him to the rectory of Llangefni with Tregaian, and in 1838 gave him a residentiary canonry of Bangor Cathedral. Ho...
