The chief dramatic event in the Regional programme this week will be the revival. at 8 to-night of Goodbye, Mr. Chips, a play based on Mr. James Hilton's novel of that name. Mlr. Richard Goolden will appear in the title part.. Mozart's "Jupiter " Symphony, performed for the gramophone by the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Sir Thomas Beecham, will be heard at 9 by National listeners.
Beethoven's Seventh Symplhony will be heard this evening by listeners to Radio-Paris, and Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony, Schumann's Pianoforte Concerto in A Minor, and Beethoven's Third Leonora Overture by those taking the Sottens programme. Mr. Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion will be given from Vienna, two one-act operas from Rome, and the third act of Figaro from Strasbourg.
