CHANNEL 4, 6.0: Graphlo artist Ken Sprague, with mutton - chop whiskers and an Informed eye for this sort of thing, hits the trail of the naughty seaside postcard — sidestepping the, er, over-exposed classics of Donald McGill to ferret out hia closest rival — a shy, elegant old gentleman named Arnold Taylor. The reclusive Mr Taylor—who has perpetrated at least as many busts and bottoms and doubleentendres as Mr McGill— took some finding. But along the route, reporter Sprague chats to shoppers at seaside resorts and discovers there's no drop in sales of this saucy fare—and that such postcards are, by and large, a British invention for strictly British tastes.
