BRADFORD TRINITY HARRIERS' SPORTS.
This Yorkshire cross-country club (holders of the Northern Junior Championship, 1889-90) brought off their first athletic festival on Saturday on the Bowling Football Ground, Wakefield-road, Bradford. Tho prizes reached the value of £100 for seven events, of which Bum £43 was devoted to the " Trinity Challengo Cup" and special prize for the One Mile Scratch liace. All the other races were handicaps, for which a numerous entrance was received. The ' weather was fino, and about 1,000 spectators were Present. The chief event, viz., tho One Mile Scratch ■Race, for a £40 silver enp, had closed with the names °f many prominent athletes, including J. Kibblewhite (London), W. J. Fowler (London), Harry Whittick (Cheltenham), G. H. Morris (Salford Harriers), F. Collier (Salford Harriers), S. A. Holmes (Airedale Barriers), and others. The following are the results : 100 yards handicap.—l, C* H. Jones, Bradford, 6 ! / 4 yards $tart; ; |2, J. Whiteside, Laisterdyke, 9ft; 3, J. A. Marshall, Harriers, A'/i. Won by a loot.
