Ages 5-9. Kids learn to associate sounds with keyboard fitters with this fine disc that develops phonics, spelling, and typing skills. Students team up with animated characters to rescue storytellers from a sinister extraterrestrial villain. The activities challenge children to name pictures, identify sounds associated with the beginning, middle, and end of each picture name, and use correct fingering to type sounds can the keyboard. Players must also type sounds heard and names of pictures seen and then combine those sounds into words and words into phrases or sentences. Students use a simple word processor and practice accurate keyboarding. Rich, animated graphics keep interest high. A perfect combination of reading, writing, and development of typing skills.
