Abstract :

Customer retention is considered by many in the banking industry as a radical, albeit necessary, approach in ensuring long-term profit gain. Seven strategies are discussed for the creation of a high-loyalty/high-profit business system. Although these strategies are oftentimes difficult to get right, a successful implementation of these reengineering concepts will ensure high profits for branch-based banking systems.
