Abstract :
In this article, the author examines how an educational teaching team exists within the ontological foundations of pedagogical caring. By asking the question, "what is our teaching team's philosophy?" the author examines some aspects that give meaning to the educational endeavor. These aspects are not technological or procedural, but rather ways of being in the world. These ways, in turn, inform the teaching team and how the team members teach those students entrusted to them. By recognizing the call of "Being," a call that is found within an engagement with the world, a teaching team's philosophy is manifested.
