Aspiring Formula 1 drivers Nelson Piquet Jr and Nico Rosberg will once again join BMW's testing schedule. After trialling the cars in December last year, both will return to the track to help the BMW Williams F1 team with pre-season testing at Barcelona.
Rosberg will test on January 21 and 23 and Piquet on February 3 and 5. Both will continue to drive in the Modified AFW25A.
Early this week Toyota F1 test driver Ryan Briscoe completed the first test program for the year.
Briscoe spent three days at Spain's Circuito de Jerez, , completed more than 300 laps and had a best time of 1min 17.959s.
``The majority of our run plan was again focused on Michelin tyre development, which will be one of the most influential areas of performance again this season,'' Briscoe says.
