Abstract :

The blowpipe, which was used by Swedes in the 18th century to analyze minerals, has helped mineralogists discover the composition of various minerals. The discovery of approximately 15 types of minerals in Europe and America helped develop chemistry and mineralogy. The invention of the gas burner led to a decline in the use of blowpipes.
