Abstract :
The diode is the most basic electronic component that can be built using a semiconductor, and it forms the backbone of all modern electronic devices. As is generally known, the diode may be used for a multitude of applications in almost any electronic device. As a result, it is fundamental for every engineering student to be able to draw electronic circuits and evaluate their output, particularly for circuits with semiconductor diodes. We picked the clipper circuit for this tutorial since it is one of the most prevalent applications for semiconductor diodes. We then sketched the output waveform using a unique way that we developed without ever solving the circuit. The Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL) and subsequently the LTspice circuit simulation are used to evaluate the approach created to get and draw the waveform of the clipper circuit. The methodology is validated using both of these approaches. We were able to accomplish the same findings utilizing the KVL technique and the LTspice simulation method since the methodology was so precise. This technique will benefit a large number of students and learners by allowing them to determine the output of any clipper circuit without having to solve it, saving them time and effort.
