Abstract :

The evaluation of scientists in biomedical sciences faculties underscores traditional criteria as opposed to non-traditional academic criteria. Research practices that are known to be problematic may be reinforced, while insufficiently supporting the conduct of better quality research and open science. Institutions are encouraged to consider incentivizing non-traditional criteria.
