Abstract :

The role of creativity on job complexity's effect on task performance is examined. The analysis across varying levels of growth need strength (GNS), supervisor support for creativity (SSC) and task interdependence shows that the GNS's moderating role is positive only when task interdependence is low. SSC positively moderates the job complexity's effect only when task interdependence is high.
