Abstract :

African Americans must build their economic life from where they find themselves. If African Americans are at the bottom of the economic scale, they must begin their climb upward from there. White Americans must welcome the ambition and talents of African Americans and not impede their progress. Communities must support the efforts to improve the economic well-being of all.
