Abstract :

The article discusses mechanism of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B (eIF2B) guanine nucleotide exchange factor of the GTPase eIF2 inhibited by phosphorylation substrate. Topics include post-translational modifications of integrated stress response (ISR) plays central role in maintaining homeostasis GTP:GDP ratio in the cell under various stress conditions.
