Abstract :

The article discusses mechanism of transferrin receptor-2 (TfR2) inconsistent with hypothetical model of modulating hepcidin expression. Topics include study of nonconserved inter-receptor interactions, apical arm junction, and holo-Tf binds to TfR1 homologue significantly stronger than TfR2 interaction.
