Abstract :

Humphreys, Wiles & Dennis's model is precise and - with its restricted set of functional characteristics - successfully refines prior notions of memory. However, it provides limited novel insights into basic underlying processes of human memory. In addition, it does not yet sufficiently (1) clarify human neurobehavioral disturbances or (2) bridge nonhuman-animal research with human memory concepts.
