Abstract :

An efficient hybrid method (HM) is proposed by combining the direct stiffness method (DSM) and the mode superposition method (MSM) for analyzing the train-track-bridge coupled system (TTBS). The train and the track are modeled by applying the multi-body dynamics and the DSM, respectively. The bridge is modeled by applying the MSM that is efficient in capturing the dynamic behavior with a small number of modes. The train-track subsystem and the bridge subsystem are coupled by the interaction forces between them. The computational efficiency is significantly improved because of the considerably reduced number of equations of motion of the TTBS. Numerical simulations of a train traversing an arch railway bridge are performed and the results are compared with the field test data and the data from other methods, demonstrating the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method. Une methode hybride efficace est proposee en combinant la methode de rigidite directe (MRD) et la methode de superposition de mode (MSM) pour l'analyse du systeme couple train-voie-pont (STVP). Le train et la voie sont modelises en appliquant la dynamique multicorps et la MRD, respectivement. Le pont est modelise en appliquant la MSM qui est efficace en matiere de capturer le comportement dynamique avec un petit nombre de modes. Le sous-systeme train-voie et le sous-systeme pont sont couples par les forces d'interaction entre eux. L'efficacite de calcul est considerablement amelioree en raison du nombre considerablement reduit d'equations de mouvement du STVP. Des simulations numeriques d'un train traversant un pont ferroviaire en arche sont effectuees et les resultats sont compares aux donnees des essais sur le terrain et aux donnees d'autres methodes, ce qui demontre l'efficacite et l'exactitude de la methode proposee.
