Abstract :

The US Constitution contains provisions defining the extent of relations that may be established between state governments. These provisions are concerned with competitive and cooperative actions, judicial handling of disputes, enforcement of public acts across state boundaries and commercial relations. It also allows states to impose their own tax systems such as product taxes, sales taxes and excise taxes.
