Abstract :

Triple therapy compared with dual therapy might be linked with a reduction in severe asthma exacerbations and modest improvements in asthma control, but no huge difference in quality of life, in 11,894 patients. The therapies involve the addition of a long-acting muscarinic antagonist to inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting [beta]2-agonists.
