Abstract :

The experience in tackling the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 sheds light on America's lack of preparedness to addressed future pandemics. Policy making must be shifted towards directing essential resources to vulnerable populations. Aside from crafting strategies for boosting surge capacity, the nation must urge individuals to perceive the importance of behaviors that help in curbing outbreaks.
