Abstract :

The use of a high dose of vitamin D3 for treatment of moderate to severe COVID-19 may not affect the hospital length of stay in patients with moderate to severe COVID-19. In 240 patients, a single dose of 200,000 IU of vitamin D3 resulted in a median of 7.0 days in the hospital. The same hospital length of stay was observed with placebo.
