Abstract :

A systematic review to support the 2021 USPSTF Recommendation Statement indicates that pharmacologic and behavioral interventions are effective in increasing smoking cessation in adults. In pregnancy, behavioral interventions are effective for smoking cessation. Data are limited on the use of pharmacotherapy for smoking cessation, as well as the effectiveness and safety of electronic cigarettes.
