Abstract :
A study was conducted to examine the influence of sde expression on the development program of Myxococcus xanthus cells supporting Tn5lac insertion. Plasmids were determined in escherichia coli DH5-alpha or JM101 while M. xanthus strains were prepared at 32 degrees Centrigrade in CTT broth. Results indicated that SdeK could support a signal transduction passageway needed to activate and propagate the early development program of M. xanthus cells.
