Abstract :

The article discusses translesion DNA synthesis (TLS) performed by human DNA polymerase eta (hpol ) tolerance from damage from cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (II) (CDDP or cisplatin). Topics include synergistic increase in CDDP toxicity, treatment of hpol ?-proficient cells and cytotoxic effect of CDDP.
