Abstract :

A national mail survey of corporate travel managers and a national telephone survey of business travelers have been conducted to analyze three issues: factors responsible for the decline in business air travel, impact of automobile, telecommunications and other forms of technology on business air travel and whether the business air travel market has reached its peak. The results indicate definite changes in the business air travel market which should make air carriers react accordingly.
