Abstract :

The anticoagulant drug Integrilin may lower the risk of complications from stenting in patients with coronary artery disease, according to a study of 2,064 patients. Stents are small cylindrical devices that are placed inside coronary arteries to keep them open. However, this procedure can cause blood clot formation.
